在這個變幻莫測的時代，讓我們從碼頭出發，重新認識這片土地的日常與集體記憶。無論你是歷史迷、藝術愛好者，還是社區觀察者，都歡迎登船同行！

Ferries set sail from the pier, connecting not just locations, but also the life trajectories of generations and the memories of the city. This autumn and winter, Art Together presents a series of Strolling and Reading Tours, art and history-based activities starting from Hong Kong’s ferry piers.

Amid the tides of a rapidly changing world, let us drift from the pier and return to the quiet pulse of this land—its everyday rhythms, its shared memories. Whether you seek stories of the past, moments of beauty, or traces of community life, this journey awaits you. Step aboard, and let the shoreline speak.

在短短十公里的東區海岸上，曾匯聚十種不同功能的碼頭，數量冠絕全港。鄧家宙博士將帶領大家回顧這段獨特的城市發展歷程，從碼頭的興衰變遷出發，探索其在社區中的角色與歷史脈絡，細看香港海岸線背後的時代故事與人文印記。

Pier Histories: A Journey Through Eastern District’s Maritime Past

The Eastern District’s 10-kilometer coastline once housed piers of ten different functions, which was the most of any place in Hong Kong. Dr. Tang Ka-Jau, Billy, will lead a journey through this unique urban development, exploring the relationship between pier design and urban planning, and the role of pier in the community and its historical context, together delving into Hong Kong’s story throughout generations.

【晚風擺渡：夜讀藝遊海岸間】走讀藝遊團

在海風輕拂的夜晚，搭乘渡輪穿越維港，一場結合閱讀、藝術與社區探索的走讀旅程即將展開。

九龍城碼頭曾是連繫多地的重要交通樞紐，盛極一時，如今只剩往返北角的一條渡輪航線。一海之隔，城在兩岸凝神對望，訴說着萬千人情故事。

由北角碼頭出發，與夜遊夥伴——藝術家黃嘉瀛同行，沿途共讀精選文章，從文字中細味碼頭與海岸的歷史與人文風景。旅程中更有藝術家柏齊分享其渡輪觀察與社區訪談，邀請大家一同思考「社群」的多重意義與可能性。

Ferrying Stories: A Coastal Night Walk with Art and Words

On a night with the gentle sea breeze, embark on a ferry ride across Victoria Harbour, where a journey combining reading, art, and community exploration is about to begin. Kowloon City Ferry Pier was once a vital connecting point of many places, but now only one route that travels between North Point and Kowloon City remains. Departing from North Point Ferry Pier, take the ferry to Kowloon City Ferry Pier and join the night walk partners, artist Wong Ka Ying, reading fascinating articles along the way we wander through nearby communities, discovering the cultural landscape of the pier and the coast through words. Accompanied by artist Pak Chai’s sharing of his observation and creation on the ferry, let us explore the various meanings and possibilities of “community.”
