Description

You are so excited about your idea, but how to do you get others just as excited so they want to join your team, buy your product, or invest? Learn how to effectively communicate your idea and passion to customers and investors.

Attendees will be able to:

  • Articulate what a “pitch” is and why it is useful when moving an idea/project/startup/venture forward

  • Understand how to adjust pitch for length, audience, and ask

  • Understand the basics needed in the: oral, written, and verbal pitch

Each workshop follows a similar format:

  • Overview of workshop goals

  • Overview and lesson on the topic

  • Hands-on activity and exercise

  • Share learnings and activity results

  • Wrap up and questions



This workshop is part Innovate@BU's In Real Life series. The series includes six different workshops that teach innovation skills and help build an entrepreneurial mindset that you can use to create impact #InRealLife.
