SOL GUY

Sol Guy is a professional storyteller who believes we can change our world through the stories we tell. His passion to connect art and social change through doing what he loves has taken him on a unique creative journey.

He’s worn many hats on this journey, from his early days as a rapper in the cutting-edge Hip Hop group, Rascalz to creating, and hosting TV programs, producing and directing films, writing books, managing other artists, and developing innovative socially-minded business practices.

Sol’s body of work and credits include; Host, producer and co-creator of the groundbreaking MTV/Nat Geo TV series 4REAL. Co-producer of the anthem of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa – K’naan’s - WAVIN FLAG #1 in 18 countries. Producer for the HBO feature-length documentary INSIDE OUT prize winning street artist JR. Author of the award- winning children’s book When I Get Older. Named 2014 Innovator of Change by JWT ad agency. Honored by National Geographic as an “Emerging Explorer”. Playback Magazine list of “Rising stars and Dealmakers.”

He is currently the VP of Creative and Content for Tribeca Enterprises in NYC.
