Improv 1: Let's Play! (in-person)
Six Week Course | Adults Only (18+)
In Leela’s signature level I class, you will experience the transformative nature of group play. Lessons are firmly rooted in technique and theory from Viola Spolin’s theater games, mindfulness, dance/movement, sound/music, and child's play. You will learn a vast array of techniques to tap into pure spontaneity, creativity, and collaboration. Learn to trust and act on impulse, increase comfort with the unknown, become more flexible, develop problem solving skills, and freely communicate and collaborate with others.
*Shy people welcome.
Repeat this class as often as you like for your weekly dose of play.

***Located only one block from the Powell MUNI/BART station.***
COVID 19 Policy: All students must be fully vaccinated and boosted. You must present your vaccination card (with booster) at the beginning of the first class. You will not be admitted without it. No exceptions. Thank you.
Class Instructions: Please meet inside the lobby of the SF Chronicle Building at the 901 Mission entrance by 6:55 PM. Then wait in the lobby next to the security guard until a Leela representative comes to greet you and direct you to the classroom. You will be asked to present your official vaccination card in the lobby before class.
