IN-PERSON LUNCH PANEL

Please join us for a panel of finance, marketing, and growth experts to discuss M&A and strategic opportunities in the sector. Complimentary lunch will be provided.

Panelists will address and discuss what elements drove GovCon transactions thus far in 2021 and their implications for companies to best position themselves for exit in this environment.

The discussion will outline and analyze what qualities buyers are looking for based on recent activity and expert insights. Panelists will attempt to distill what drove and will drive buyer interest and transaction rationale in the sector for the remainder of the year.

Jim later worked for a B2B consultancy, where he managed a strategic-focused consulting practice. Jim's experience with both subscription products and consulting engagements has given him unique insights to address the complex and dynamic needs that exist in this market.

Guillaume Laffitte-Smith

As a Director in Cherry Bekaert's Valuation Advisory Services Group, Guillaume leads valuation engagements of illiquid securities for financial reporting purposes. These illiquid securities include debt instruments and equity securities. Guillaume has experience providing valuation, transaction, and financial advisory services to business development companies, private equity funds, other portfolio managers of illiquid debt and equity investments, in addition to closely-held businesses. Additionally, he also provides valuation services related to: fairness and solvency opinions; fair value accounting (ASC 820); purchase price allocations (ASC 805); goodwill impairment analyses (ASC 350); stock compensation-related valuations; intangible asset valuations; and M&A transactions.
