About this event
A Fresh Take on cooking and wellness.
Join Chef and Registered Dietitian Anita Bancroft with other Registered Dietitians quarterly for an in-person, hands-on cooking class at the CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center on the CU Anschutz Medical Campus.
Learn cooking techniques and seasonal recipes featuring a fusion between culinary arts and the science of nutrition in these fun and educational classes that will give you a Fresh Take on cooking and wellness.
In-person classes are limited to 18 participants.
Location:
CU Anschutz Health and Wellness Center’s Teaching Kitchen, First Floor - 12348 E. Montview Blvd. (Please meet us in the demo kitchen space on the left in the front lobby of our center)
Price:
$50 per person
$80 per pair or couple
(Prices include food to make and enjoy at the end of class)

In-person Classes:
- Thursday, March 9, 5-6:30 p.m. (Date Night: Gnocchi and Gnudi)
- Thursday, June 1, 5-6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, July 27, 5-6:30 p.m.
- Thursday, October 5, 5-6:30 p.m.

Parking:
The nearest visitor parking lots are Snowmass and Monte Vista. Visitor parking is $1/hour (via lot pay stations).
PLEASE NOTE:
Space is limited—reserve your spot now! One registrant per single ticket and two registrants per pair ticket. Refunds are available on a case-by-case basis.

Anita Bancroft, RD, CC, is a registered dietitian and certified culinarian here at the Anschutz Health and Wellness Center. Anita completed a 6000-hour culinary apprenticeship program through the American Culinary Federation, held various positions as a chef for over ten years, then became a registered dietitian. Her extensive culinary background and passion for nutrition education generated her goal of teaching culinary skills as a tool to help establish and maintain healthy lifestyles.
