In Person: Cozy Kit Assembly and Soup Drive

Who this In Person Event is for:

Ages 4-12. Adult caregivers are required to accompany child participants. Siblings of participants outside this age range are welcome, but may find the event to be less meaningful and fulfilling.

What you’ll be doing:

As the weather turns chilly, it’s the perfect time to spread warmth and joy! Join Seeds of Caring to help kids act with compassion and care for others in our community. Together, we’ll engage in a reflective hands-on exercise, discuss food insecurity, take a tour of the Broad Street Food Pantry, and then assemble Cozy Kits packed with comforting treats for our neighbors.

Optionally, families can collect or purchase non-perishable soups for the pantry. We will provide a flyer in your confirmation email to help your child conduct a neighborhood food drive if you choose.

Specific Instructions:

All supplies will be provided. If you complete a food drive, please bring your donation(s) to the event.

Why you'll be asked to pay a supply fee and donate:

On the next page you'll be asked to pay a fee to offset supply costs for this event. These fees are non-refundable. If you have to cancel your registration later, please know that your fee will go toward our efforts to create more meaningful service-focused programs for kids.

Every time we're able to design, coordinate, and offer an opportunity for kids to give back, it's with the help of supporters like you. Please consider making a generous gift to help us continue to empower kids to create a kinder community with their hearts, hands, and minds.

We never want supply fees to prevent someone from participating in a Seeds of Caring project. If you would like assistance covering your supply fees, please email programs@seedsofcaring.org and we will register you for free, no questions asked.
