In-person class: Cupcake Decorating (New Jersey)

This Mother's Day why not try a new activity together? This is the perfect activity in preparation of celebrating Mom all weekend long.

In this fun and interactive class, you will learn the art of decorating cupcakes with buttercream frosting. Multiple techniques will be covered in this 2 hour class, including: star, rosette, leaf, and a 5 petal flower.

Our classically trained Pastry Chef Instructor will provide pre-baked and cooled cupcakes to use throughout the class. He will demonstrate how to make each design and provide ample time for practice. Don't be intimidated if this is your first time operating a piping bag! This class is designed for beginners. After you've created your cupcake masterpieces, you can box up your cakes to take home. Or, stick around for a tasting and maybe order a glass of champagne at the bar ;) This is a celebration for Mom after all!

No experience is required! We provide all the equipment and ingredients, which are easy to find at local markets if you don’t already have them in your home kitchen. Our events are casual and meant to be fun and instructive, not hardcore. This class is designed to be just as fun for the baking enthusiast who wants to be a part of every step as it is for the first-timer who’s happier observing and assisting (or taste testing).

Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in, especially if you’re part of a large group. Guests will work in groups throughout the class, sharing equipment and ingredients. Outside drinks are not allowed. Drinks are available for purchase from the venue and are NOT included in the ticket price. 21+ only.
