The 2020 General Election saw the largest voter turnout in American history, but at what rate did young voters participate and how did they affect the election outcome? What issues do young voters care about most and what are the barriers that prevent them from voting?

Join LWV Minneapolis for this special event. You'll hear Kelly Beadle from CIRCLE (Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning & Engagement) at Tufts University present data on youth engagement in the 2020 election and what we can learn as we expand our youth voter engagement for the all-important Municipal Election this year.

We'll then hear from a panel of Minneapolis youth who will share their personal experiences, and we'll have plenty of time for a Q&A.
