Event description

Description

To coincide with the announcement of Henry’s retirement, Hodder & Stoughton are delighted to publish Over and Out, an autobiographical book by the cricket broadcasting legend. Silverwood Events, in partnership with the University of Central Lancashire, are delighted to welcome Henry to Preston for a event to introduce his autobiography.

Don't miss the opportunity to meet National Treasure Henry Blofeld for what promises to be a fascinating evening... Henry's voice is the sound of summer to cricket lovers all over the world, and this book is a celebration of his career commentating on the sport he loves. Henry will be talking about his life and career with John Gillmore of BBC Radio Lancashire.

The admission price covers the cost of a hardback copy of Over and Out which attendees will be given on the evening and will have the opportunity to have signed as a special memento of the evening.

Doors for the event open at 6.30pm and the event will begin at 7.00pm. Henry's talk will last around an hour and the end time for the event is approximate and will be dependent on the length of time the after event signing takes.

Books not collected on the evening can be despatched via the post but additional carriage charges will be incurred.

Free parking is available on the University's car park for the duration of the event.
