IN COLD BLOOD (1967) -- Richard Brooks wrote and directed this brilliantly evocative stark black-and-white adaptation of Truman Capote's non-fiction novel In Cold Blood. After a botched robbery results in the brutal murder of a rural family, two drifters (Robert Blake and Scott Wilson) elude police, in the end coming to terms with their own mortality and the repercussions of their vile atrocity.
UGA's Grady College co-hosts this classic film screening with special guest actor and Georgia native, SCOTT WILSON, in attendance for a discussion with Professor Nate Kohn and the audience, following the film. A character actor in Hollywood for more than five decades, Wilson is most recently known for his work as grizzled farm owner Hershel Greene in the cable series The Walking Dead.
