In Care Of Closing Reception

Join us to celebrate the exhibition In Care Of during National Family Caregivers Month.

Caring for loved ones can be difficult and beautiful at the same time. In Care Of: Postcard-Sized Portrayals of Caregiving in Wisconsin elevates caregiver voices to shed light on their experiences. We invited caregivers to anonymously share postcard-sized depictions of the joys, challenges, and moments of gratitude that come with family caregiving. The exhibit documents the themes revealed in their words to inform viewers about caregiving and catalyzing awareness and conversation about this often invisible population. In Care Of emphasizes the way conflicting emotions and experience are intertwined in the caregiving role, shaping us in unique and transformational ways.
