Because it's going to be on all of our minds in 2017... Learn how to successfully create Improv using politics and current events!
The audience has shouted some politically charged suggestion, and your team has decided to go with it. Now what? This class aims to give students tools and tactics to deal with current events and politics in their improv. Topics covered include: playing well-rounded but disagreeable characters, creating clear satire, and exploring the world around a news event. As always, after every class we head to a nearby bar to drink, eat snacks, and talk shop! If you're interested in the class but not sure if it's for you, contact me about auditing a session.
The class is 3 sessions long, meeting January 25, February 1, and February 8 at 7-9 PM.
