Event description

Description

As countries pursue Universal Health Coverage (UHC), their focus tends to be on health financing and health service delivery. Governance is often overlooked and, yet, is a critical component of UHC design.

Please join RTI International, the DC Health Systems Board (DCHSB), and Health Systems Global for a discussion on the governance implications of country efforts to achieve UHC.

This panel will examine how governance thinking can influence UHC, with panelists bringing both theoretical and practical expertise to the conversation. Breakfast will be provided prior to the event at 8:30am.

For those unable to attend in-person, the event will be broadcast via webinar, and the webinar link will be shared closer to the event.

Panelists:

Derick Brinkerhoff, RTI, Distinguished Fellow, International Public Management

Dan Kress, RTI, Senior Director, Public Health

Jodi Charles, USAID, Senior Health Systems Advisor
