About this Event

Look beyond the traditional regional approach of pelvic floor PT to understand how addressing dysfunctions of the transitional regions of the spine - from the lumbosacral region to the upper cervical spine can positively affect lumbo/pelvic dysfunction. This 1-day course is designed to expand your current practice through evidence based and biologically plausible methods of examination and intervention of both upper quarter dysfunctions and the lower quarter region.A complete review of the anatomy and physiology of the pressure systems from the glottis to the pelvic floor will be provided to expand your interventions of manual therapy, movement and exercise. The course will include an interactive format for discussion of the current concepts and the application of interventions. You will learn skills to take home right away - simple and effective manual skills to use immediately regardless of your manual therapy skills.
