Register today and join us for a day of sharing best practice case studies and hearing the latest in patient flow innovation at the Quality Improvement Innovation Centre hosted by South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust in association with Cayder.

9.30 - 10.00  Registration and refreshments


10.00            Welcome from Stuart Rankin, Managing Director Cayder, a Cambio Company 


10.10             Tina Hanlon, Implementation Lead – Cambio Healthcare Systems

Cayder will demonstrate a variety of mobile working capabilities, assessments, e-Observations, ward round capabilities and Hospital @ Night including the latest user interface which will be rolling out across our customer base through 2017 /18.

11.00              Steve Jessop, Nursing Director, Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Steve’s presentation will cover red/green days initiative, how it’s working and the benefits

being seen one year on Hull have also gone live with Mobile working, what does this mean to

them and how is it improving working practice?


11.30              Philip Martin, South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust

Philip will share with us how many hours a day a being saved with the introduction of the PFM enabled Discharge Hub and also how Qlikview reports have automated what was a previously time-consuming task for staff across the Trust.

13.00              Ruth Brown and John Dickson, Northern Health and Social Care Trust

Ruth Brown, Team Leader and John Dickson from the Northern Trust’s Mental Health Directorate will share how the use of PFM Openward has greatly assisted their Rapid Assessment Interface Discharge (RAID) team operating within Antrim Area Hospital.


13.15              Ben Morrow, Northern Health and Social Care Trust and Nigel Austin Technology

Director, Cayder

                      Nigel and Ben will talk about their experience of automated extraction of data. From Nigel we

will find out how this has been done and also from Ben how they are turning data into

information and how it is used in systems such as Qlikview.


13.30              Nigel Austin, Technology Director, Cayder

Nigel will talk everyone through the planned developments in PFM, and take questions from the floor and get your ideas for future enhancements.


13.50               Break for refreshments


14.15               An informal session chaired by Stuart to ask the panel any questions around any of the topics discussed today or patient flow in general. Panel members Jackie Crook, Tina Hanlon, Steve Jessop and Damien Moore.


15.15               Damien Moore, ICT Innovation and Service Development Manager, Health and Social Care Northern Ireland

Damien will spend a few moments talking about the current focus for NI.
