Description

Improving Education & Human-Service Outcomes Using Human Centered Design

In non-profit organizations, schools, hospitals and other human-service organizations we often see the need for innovative solutions to our clients’ needs, but lack the time and resources to make substantial investments in additional staff or infrastructure. We need problem-solving frameworks that are nimble, easily learned and help us to react to the changing needs of our clients.

Human Centered Design helps us with these challenges. HCD is a unique approach to creating solutions that meet the needs of clients, WITH clients. It is a broadly applicable best-practice strategy on how to include the eventual users of a program or service in its creation. The results are simple: services and solutions that, because created collaboratively, are more effective for the user.

The Bezos Family Foundation, American Refugee Committee, and CourseLabs are just a few of the forward-thinking organizations already using Human Centered Design to create innovative, effective solutions for their clients.

If you’re looking for help responding to the “Do more with Less” directive, join us to learn the basics of Human Centered Design and how it can be applied to create innovative, lasting solutions that your clients and stakeholders will love.
