IMPROVING CAUSE OF DEATH REPORTING AMONG MEDICAL STAFF
DESCRIPTION: The Indiana State Department of Health is hosting a free live webcast tailored to increasing medical staff knowledge and competency for those who certify cause of death. The goal of the educational activity is to provide training on the cause of death investigation process, when to refer a case to a medical examiner or coroner, how cause of death information is used at both the local and state level, and where to access additional resources.
Viewers will be able to earn 1 CME credit for their participation.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Medical staff, including but not limited to Physicians, Advanced Practice Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Physician Assistants.
