Improving Business Performance for I4.0 with Operational Cost Modeling
Event Information
About this Event
Overview
The training co-hosted by IMSI and CAM-I , provides a high-level understanding of an integrated operational cost modeling approach to enhance your knowledge of advanced management aspects of the Industry 4.0 Technology Framework. You will learn about the evolution of costing in manufacturing and how the latest cloud-based modeling applications are enablers for supporting this approach. Actual cost models will be used to demonstrate the integration with analytics for agile decision-making to improve business performance.
This session highlights the connectivity of operational cost modeling in justifying the implementation of Industry 4.0 technologies.
Key Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, you will appreciate how operational cost modeling is being used to:
- optimize resource utilization
- evaluate quality improvement initiatives
- understand the value of simulating “future state” Industry 4.0 scenarios
- provide improved cost estimates for Target Costing and Lean initiatives
- benchmark processes and best practices in a multi-plant environment
- assist manufacturing organizations in their implementation of the Industry 4.0 Technology Framework
The focus of this awareness training is for manufacturing operational leaders and practitioners to obtain a high-level understanding of the power of operational cost modeling in a collaborative decision-making environment.
