Improve Your Online Course with Quality Matters Workshop on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Drinko Library 349 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m

About this Event

Join us for a face-to-face session of the “Improving Your Online Course” (IYOC) workshop on Friday, November 8, 2019 in Drinko Library 349 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. conducted by Dr. Roxann Humbert on behalf of the national QM program.

The IYOC class explores the QM Rubric providing a framework to improve the quality of your online or hybrid courses. Use the QM Rubric to review your own online or hybrid classes to help develop a course improvement plan. You can even apply the QM rubric to your face-to-face courses if you are using Blackboard to house materials, record grades, promote online student interaction, or deliver assessments.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided along with an opportunity to win an Amazon Kindle Fire HD!

NOTES:

• Faculty must be present for the entire class to obtain QM certification.

• Previous QM certification is not required for this workshop.

• This class is limited to 20 seats; register today!

• Registration closes on October 25, 2019.

OUTCOME:

Completing this workshop will fulfill the QM certification requirement at Marshall and help you build a better online or hybrid course.

Sincerely,

Dr. Monica Brooks, MU QM Representative
