Improv Workshop for Adults

Not Funny? Not Confident? Not a problem!
Whether you have always wanted to step onstage and make an audience laugh, or the thought of speaking in public terrifies you; this workshop is for you.

Over the course of 2 hours you will be introduced to the foundational techniques of Improvisational Theater: Listen, Agree, Add & Immediacy. Meet fun people, laugh your head off, and set your imagination loose. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!

About the Facilitator
Michael Harris has been teaching improv workshops and classes for over a decade. He has taught thousands of students from 6 to 86 as a teacher with the Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) and as a faculty member at the National Conservatory of Dramatic Arts (NCDA). In addition he has run corporate workshops for dozens of clients including: T. Rowe Price, Johns Hopkins University & Hospital, the World Bank, and the Annie E. Casey Foundation.

Cancellation

Root Studio reserves the right to cancel or reschedule workshops/events at our discretion. Registrants will be given the option of participating on the new date, receiving a studio credit or receiving a full refund. Communication for cancelled and rescheduled workshops is sent via email.
