Description

Ideally, students should internalize what they are learning because they are genuinely interested in the task, want to challenge themselves, and wish to increase their competence—that is, students should follow a mastery orientation to learning. In this workshop we will explore the use of badges to help students develop a mastery orientation to learning, meet learning objectives and reinforce tacit skills such as group work, time management, positive peer feedback, etc.
