Impediments and Opportunities to Meeting Retirement
Needs by Tapping into Home Equity
Please join the Urban Institute for an engaging roundtable discussion with other key stakeholders on the needs of future retirees, the extent to which those needs might be met through accumulated home equity, and impediments to doing so. The goal of this event will be to suggest changes in practices and policies in the mortgage and housing markets that could improve the ability of future retirees to safely and cost-effectively tap into their home equity, as well as to suggest business opportunities and areas for future research.
This conversation is timely and urgent. We hope you can join this select gathering of researchers, policy experts, and practitioners for a robust discussion on October 19, 2016.
This event is supported by Fannie Mae.
Light breakfast available at 8:30 a.m. The program will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m.
