Event description

Description

The Impact Women’s Network brings together professional women for Impact Wednesday to hear the latest on entrepreneurship, business, research and much more. Impact Wednesday takes place the first Wednesday morning of every month (excluding January and August) at a different location. These meetings are grounded in women sharing their expertise as well as their experience through #ImpactTalks as well as group activities and discussions.

Impact Wednesday February Theme: Creating Social Impact

It is said that Social impact is the effect an organization's actions have on the wellbeing of the community. It may be addressing a specific social challenge, or indeed it may be how a company wants to make an impact on the communities in which it lives and works. In this month’s #ImpactWednesday we will be looking at social impact from a range of perspectives and will then discuss how to create social impact as a group.
