Event description
Join us for Impact Talks with leaders from our global IMPACT2030 network about bias, Black Lives Matter's lessons, and change.

About this event

The one-year anniversary of George Floyd's killing occurs this month. Corporate America has pledged millions to social justice efforts. But only some businesses have gone further, committing to concrete changes in their practices.

In this episode of Impact Talk, we will hear from our guest, Jerome Tennile, Vice-Chair at IMPACT2030 Baltimore, and Social Impact Manager at Marriott International. Jerome will share with us his insights about:

  • What did the business community learn from the Black Lives Matter movement?

Chris Jarvis, Co-Founder at IMPACT2030 and RW Institute will talk about:

  • Neuroscience of bias
  • The link between volunteering and inclusion

Arzu Demirel, Chair at IMPACT2030 Turkey, and Founder at Headline Diversity will moderate the panel discussion. The panel will be followed by an open discussion for questions and additional insight.
