Project Oracle is recruiting members for the first Impact Pioneers: Youth Justice Cohort. You have been selected to attend an exclusive launch event to find out more about the programme and how it could benefit you.
What is the Youth Justice Cohort?
Starting in Autumn 2016, Project Oracle, in collaboration with the Mayors Office for Policing and Crime (MOPAC), are launching the Impact Pioneers: Youth Justice Cohort, offering a programme of free evaluation support to organisations looking to improve their ability to evaluate programmes designed to reduce youth reoffending, or help young people exit gangs.
Successful applicants will be members of the Youth Justice Cohort. They will be supported to use the newly created MOPAC Outcomes Framework which recommends tools for measuring the progress young people make in key outcomes, related to reducing crime. They will also receive free training sessions and invitations to exclusive events throughout the year. The programme is designed to improve members ability to evaluate programmes, in line with the MOPAC framework, and share ideas about effective evaluation.
A select group of 10 – 15 organisations will also receive bespoke one-to-one support to improve their evaluation capacity over the course of a year. This can include:
- Creating a Theory of Change
- Designing an evaluation plan
- Support to analyse data and report on results
- Validation at Project Oracle Standards 1,2 or 3.
- A research placement to support an evaluation over several months
We will be holding a free launch event on Thursday 6th October 2.00pm-4.00pm. The event will bring together youth organisations, funders and commissioners and academics working in the Youth Justice space for an afternoon of learning and lively discussion. The session will include opportunities to find out more about the Impact Pioneers programme, meet the Project Oracle experts at the helm, and apply to join the Youth Justice Cohort.
Please RSVP by Thursday 29th October to ensure your place.
If you are unable to join the Youth Justice Cohort but would like to register your interest for free training opportunities then please select the 'Sign up for free training alerts' option. Please RSVP for the event seperately.
If you can't make the event but would still like to be involved please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Or alternatively click here to apply to join the Youth Justice Cohort.
