ABOUT THE RESEARCH

Come learn about Ph.D student Mohsen Tootoonchi's research on how Climate Change, Sea level rise and Salt water intrusion affect Florida's Native aquatic plants and ecosystems.

The focus will be on salt stress on growth, survival, and competitive ability of different aquatic plant species and how this research helped estimate salt tolerance thresholds for several prominent species in Florida.
