Description

Impact Investing: A Global Faculty Convening

Over the last 10 years, we have seen an increased demand by business school students for classes in impact investing and sustainable investing. Schools and faculty have responded with classes. Over the years, several of us have informally reached out to each other to share our teaching formats, curriculum, frameworks, and experiential learning exercises. We have talked about working together on cases and research.

At this critical juncture, we’ll be convening leading educators who teach courses in impact and sustainable investing with the objective of determining paths towards furthering the field through shared learnings about our student’s needs, frameworks, resources, cases, and future research.

In June of 2017, The Kellogg School of Management and The Rockefeller Foundation will host this thought leadership gathering of impact investing academics curated from among leading educational institutions. This one-day gathering and sharing of ideas and resources will result in decided next-steps for the sector, including shared educational content, expansion of the reach and excellence of impact investing instruction in business and professional education, and beyond.

Here is the schedule of events. (Agenda coming soon.) We hope you’ll join for as much of it as makes sense for you:
