IMPACT: How To Speak Your Way To Success - November 12-13, 2019

Lely is excited to offer the 2-day training IMPACT: How To Speak Your Way To Success. For anyone in any roles with leadership, sales or interaction with others on a regular basis, this two- day program is for you! Participants get up and present to build 1:1, small group and formal presentation skills over 6 times in front of a group.

This program builds in the research around first impressions. People make an impression in the first 2-7 seconds of meeting someone. That impression is based on how they look (gestures, clothes, hair, etc.) and our vocal tone. (Statistics show 55% is around our image with body posturing, clothes, stance, and 38% is around our vocal tone, and only 7% of what is remembered is based on what we say.) Research also shows that 85% of our success is based off our people skills. How we connect with others, how we build relationships, how we look people in the eye…it is critical. This program gets into these stats and what we can do to project the body posturing, eye contact and interactions that make positive interactions.

Each course is limited to the first 12 participants to sign-up

Two date options are available: October 22 -23 and November 12 – 13, 2019 8 am to 4:30 each day

Travel:

If you are traveling in from outside of Iowa it is encouraged to arrive on Monday and depart on Thursday. Class begins each day 8 a.m. PROMPT and will dismiss at 4:30 p.m. each day.

Shuttle or Uber:

A rental vehicle is not required as the Country Inn & Suites provides a shuttle service from the Des Moines Airport to the property. TERO International is a 2-block walk from the Country Inn & Suites.
