Additionally, four elevated Chef’s Counter tickets are available for $125 per person, providing VIP guests with exclusive "dishes in progress" and special, premium cocktails, throughout the dinner.

The full menu will include:

  • Middle Eastern Sampler: Taste of Comal's award-winning hummus, baba ghanoush, pita, and yalangi
  • Garden: Selection of the freshest herbs, chilis and vegetables from Comal's very own garden (preparations will vary depending on how each of the ingredients are looking and providing)
  • Lamb: Colorado Halal lamb prepared multiple ways to showcase Middle Eastern methods and flavors; served with Syrian style rice
  • Sweet: Kanafe with pistachio and Arabic cheese; homemade ice cream

Focus Points Family Resource Center, the nonprofit parent behind Comal, and Friends and Family, a nonprofit organization comprised of, and designed to serve, Colorado's hospitality industry employees, have partnered with Northeast Transportation Connections to host this special event. All proceeds will benefit Focus Points and Northeast Transportation Connections.

Northeast Transportation Connections is about building sustainability in our neighborhoods. They do this by reducing the number of single-occupant cars and trucks on the road. This decreases pollution, cuts down on traffic, and helps our neighbors live healthy, active lives. Over the past year, with funding from Central 70, they have been providing community transportation programs for the Globeville, Elyria, and Swansea communities. These programs include free bus passes for community members and vans for organizations to transport participants to various places, including summer camp for GES kids. They partner with local organizations to maximize their funding be able to offer other dynamic and sustainable programming for the community including: a free weekly grocery shuttle in partnership with Focus Points, walking programs for the community with Walk2Connect, and access to bikes through two new bike libraries in the community located at Prodigy and Focus Points.
