NOT AN ORDINARY CONFERENCE!

This is not your ordinary conference. IMPACT equips people with tools to positively impact their communities. IMPACT doesn’t empower people, it teaches them to release the power they have within. The primary Conference theme is: “Prayer works! Prayer with Action Creates Hope! Hope is action, a journey through trials and tribulations! Never make the journey alone. We are Community! When people have no hope, they together discover hope. When they cannot discover hope, they together create hope.”

IMPACT 2017 focuses on love, respect, and unity to achieve the theme. The conference is scripturally base utilizing Christian principles.

Teaching Communities How to Release Their Power

9:00 a.m. – 9:05 a.m. Opening Prayer – Apostle Winnie Graham, Salt of the Earth Ministries

9:10 a.m. – 9:20 a.m. Welcome/Occasion Dr. Linda C. Janey, Colossus Enterprise

9:30 a.m. – 10:50 a.m. Workshop I – Loving Me, Loving You

This workshop focuses on self love and value including loving and valuing our neighbors. A key concept that the attendee will learn is how to “do me in ways that it does not interfere with you doing you.” Presenters: Elder Henry Williams, Jerusalem Baptist Church & Ministries; Minister Brandon Hite, The Central Baptist Church; LaSchelle Ross, BeU2FULL; Minister William McBride, Ames Memorial United Methodist.

11:00 a.m. – 12:20 a.m. Workshop II - Avoiding Words & Actions That Harm Others/Anti-Bullying

This workshop teaches the attendee how to recognize bullying behavior and what to do when they experience it. Presenters: Pastor Billy Stanfield, New Vision Youth Services; LaSchelle Ross, BeU2FULL; Mia Rhodes, Community Advocate; Elder Henry Williams, Jerusalem Baptist Church.

12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. Luncheon Keynote – Dr. Jay Jalisi, Maryland Delegate “Relationships that Create Strong Communities.”

1:50 p.m. – 3:30: p.m. Workshop III – Celebrating Diversity

Our Differences Are Our Strengths. The attendee will learn about diversity and unity. They will acquire an understanding of why diversity should be celebrated and that community diversity is an essential component for community growth and sustainability. Presenters: Maggie McIntosh, Maryland Delegate; Sherrell Savage, Community Advocate; Arman Garcia, Christian Rapper; Evangelist Christopher McLean, New Life Christian Ministries International; Colossian Ministries Dance Team.

3:40 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. Wrap Up/Closing Prayer

5:00 p.m. – 7:00p.m. VIP Dinner and Exclusive Q&A Session.
