Immigration is tricky and can be even trickier for entrepreneurs and early-stage companies. This presentation will cover visa and green card options for founders and entrepreneurs; options for sponsoring employees for visas and green cards; managing CPT/OPT for interns and recent graduates; and compliance and I-9 verification requirements. The benefits of attending include: understanding issues of equity and ownership with respect to immigration options; understanding what company milestones qualify a company to sponsor employees for visas and green cards; completing company obligations of sponsoring employees for visa and green cards; and planning for international expansion or relationships.
