Imago is pleased to invite you to attend an exciting art exhibition Mystical Landscapes: Masterpieces form Monet to Van Gogh and more. Over 100 works from 15 countries including Gauguin, Klimt, Munch, Kandinsky and Emily Carr. It has been my privilege to be involved in the planning of this exhibition during the past four years.
This exhibition organized by the AGO and the Musée d'Orsay in Paris breaks new art historical ground by exploring the role of spirituality and mysticism in the production of these works. These are landscapes believed by many to have the capacity to open a portal to the transcendent. This is an opportunity to see over a hundred works of art, familiar and unfamiliar, from the 1880s – 1930s.
Admission to this Imago event is free but you must register here first. Tickets for those who register will be available for pick up on the evening of November 5th in the lobby of the AGO. No online tickets will be issued. Entry to the exhibition will be from 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. Please join us for this exciting event and remember there are a limited number of tickets so register soon.
I hope to see many of you on November 5th.
