Event description

Description

Creativity - it's critical for your business! The business environment for senior nutrition programs is evolving. Programs should evolve as well to meet the needs of older Americans of today and tomorrow. Innovative and promising practices and programs offer senior nutrition programs the opportunity to meet the evolving needs of the seniors they serve, remain nimble in the face of a changing business environment, drive improved health outcomes for program recipients by promoting a higher quality of services and increased program efficiency. To build an innovative and sustainable future, we must first imagine what it will look like.

Join the National Resource Center on Nutrition and Aging for a 3-Part Virtual and In-Person Training Series: Imagining an Innovative and Sustainable Future through Creative Thinking. This will be an engaging, learner-centric, and solutions-oriented training series designed to help senior nutrition program leaders and staff to gain new skills, identify actionable innovative practices, network with peers across the country, and leverage replicable cognitive frameworks to address emerging business needs.

  • Part 1: Virtual Session – Innovation 101 (Online – July 23, 2019 from 3:30pm - 4:30pm)
  • Part 2: Intensive Workshop – Practical Applications in Creative Ideation (In person – August 26, 2019 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Dallas Sheraton Hotel, Dallas, TX)
  • Part 3: Virtual Session – Launching Your Innovation Journey (Online – October 2, 2019 from 3:30pm - 4:30pm)

Registering for Part 2, the In-Person Workshop, automatically guarantees you a seat in both Virtual Trainings in July and October.

Trainer and master innovation facilitator Gregg Fraley (http://greggfraley.com/) has created this 3-part Training Series to engage senior nutrition program leaders in an exciting and proven method rooted in creative problem solving for clarifying vision, identifying challenges, planning innovation projects, and essentially planning for an innovative future - a fundamental culture-building skill training opportunity for any organization.
