Join the non-profit 501(c)(3) John Lennon Educational Tour Bus for an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® attempt for Largest human peace sign in Central Park NYC in partnership with the City of NY and the Mayor's office.

The event will be held in Central Park's East Meadow (entrance on 99th St. & 5th Ave.) from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.

This is a free, all ages event. Registration does not guarantee entry. Entry is available for the first 10,000 registrants on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please arrive at 10:00am to secure your place in the Largest human peace sign! On-site registration and peace sign placement will close promptly at 12:00pm. The aerial photograph capturing this historic event will take place at 12:30pm presented by Canon, Montblanc, Juniper Networks, Eventbrite, FlyNYON, iHeart Radio, NYC Department of Education, NYC Parks & Baked By Melissa.


Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

There is no age limit on the event! To attend the event, you must register, but this will not require an ID and can be done on site the day-of.  

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus is calling on the entire community to be a part of this historic event. As such, please be aware of all of your options as you plan your journey here. The East Meadow is located on Central Park's East side and it's entrance is at the intersection of 5th Avenue and 99th Street.  

Via Subway

  1. 2,3: Central Park North/110th Street
  2. B,C: 96th Street
  3. 6: 96th Street
  4. 4,5,6: 86th Street 
Via NJ Transit: 
  1. Take a NJ Transit train from your local station to Pennsylvania Station New York. From Penn Station, we recommend taking the 2,3 Subway lines uptown to Central Park Noth/110th Street. Please see above for instructions from that station. Please also be aware that there are bus routes from Penn Station that drop off near East Meadow. Cabs are also available once you leave Penn Station. Please note walking will take more than an hour.

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus presented by Canon is a non-profit state-of-the-art mobile Pro Audio and HD video recording facility that provides hands-on experiences for students of all ages. In its 20th year of touring, the Lennon Bus features the latest audio and video technology, gear and products. The concept began as an offshoot of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, dedicated to providing opportunities for both professional and amateur songwriters around the world; proceeds from which help support the Lennon Bus. The Lennon Bus travels across the U.S. and Canada year-round, providing free tours and workshops at schools, retailers, festivals, on tours with headlining artists, and at major industry conferences. Lennon Bus Europe began providing these same opportunities to the young people of Europe when it launched in Liverpool, UK in May 2013.
