Imagine K12 Educator Day - Fall 2013
Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM (PDT)
Mountain View, CA
You are invited to Imagine K12's
Educational Product Demonstration Day
Thursday, October 3, 4:30-6:30 PM
320 Pioneer Way, Mountain View (at the offices of Y Combinator)
Please join us on October 3rd to preview fourteen innovative new tech tools for K-12 education created by teams of Imagine K12 entrepreneurs. After the demonstrations, enjoy drinks and hors d'oeuvres while testing out the products for yourself! Tell the startup teams what you think, and if you like what you see, be one of the first to implement these new products in your classroom, school, or district.
The startup companies working with Imagine K12 are building a wide range of tools designed to support the work of educators, including:
- Advanced grading software that allows teachers to grade online using their existing materials - no bubble sheets, QR codes, or standardized form required
- A mobile device managment system that streamlines BYOD implementation while maintaining security
- Adaptive, Common Core-aligned software for teaching math to K-5 students using tablets
- Enterprise-scale tools to manage the application and enrollment processes for school districts, independent schools, and charter management organizations
We're also pleased to announce that the event will take place at the home of Y Combinator, the world's leading startup accelerator program. Y Combinator has produced companies such as Dropbox, Airbnb, reddit, and Scribd, and has graciously offered their space to us for the evening.
Kindly register for this event to let us know you will attend.
Please also note that this event is focused on the educator community, and so we are not able to accommodate entrepreneurs or investors as guests at Educator Day. We will host a Demo Day specifically for investors in January 2014 (please visit this page if you are interested in receiving an invitation to that event).
Imagine K12 is an organization that provides mentoring and resources for startup companies building tech products for K-12 education.
