Description

IMAGINE a diverse, sharing society based on mutual respect .....

Hear from experiences from a fantastic line-up of experiences, locally and internationally and attend speed-dating workshops on politics, cultures and activism with other cultures from across the world facilitated by the CRAICNI Diversity Team from Phillippines to Spain! Discuss views on how politics influences people from other countries; does politics abroad or here affect people now living here and what do people really think of politics here. Can we all do something together in this diverse society?

As part of the Imagine Festival, CRAICNI are hosting a full day event of interactive activities, including a panel discussion, dialogue and speed -dating workshops run by the diverse trainers’ team from CRAICNI who will work with Community Dialogue. The aim is to widen people’s understanding that there is an increasing diversity in our society in NI. We will explore politics, cultures and activism from the experiences of our diverse communities here.

Have we stopped to consider whether the political systems of other countries affect their participation in politics here? Do we need to know more about cultures and politics in other countries? The day will encourage debate, engage under-represented communities from local and ethnic minorities and look at models of good practice. You may even hear a tune, sing a song, dance or discover new ways beyond imagination that will improve our society.
