I'm the BIG kid now! (Sibling class)
Event Information
Description
Our sibling class will help children understand the changes that may occur in the family with the birth of a new baby.
Through lecture, discussion and role play we will discuss getting ready for the baby, mom going to the hospital, how new babies act, and becoming a big brother or sister.
We will tour the obstetrical unit and see how the beds and call lights work and see where the baby will stay when not with Mom.
Children are encouraged to bring a doll or stuffed animal and small blanket so they can role play holding and swaddling their baby.
Parents are expected to attend the entire class with the children.
There is no charge for this class but you must register by obtaining a ticket for each child attending the class.
Please call 801 964 3444 if you have questions regarding the class.
