Webinar/Workshop Format & Recording

This event is an online workshop delivered electronically via Adobe Connect, the best of breed online meeting and seminar system. Video and audio will be transmitted live through Adobe Connect. You may participate in the event from anywhere in the world with a high-speed Internet connection. The URL of the webinar/workshop, as well as your login username and password, will be sent to you via e-mail 1–3 days before the event begins.

Following the event you will be able to view a complete recording of the event online. You will be able to pause, stop, start, fast-forward, and rewind the recording for viewing on your schedule. A link to the recording will be e-mailed to you within 1–5 business days following the conclusion of the live event.

Pariah S. Burke ( is a software trainer and design, publishing, and digital publishing workflow expert bringing creative efficiency into studios, agencies, and publications around the world. He is the author of the book about ebook and tablet publishing, ePublishing with InDesign, the first InDesign book written for experienced InDesign users with jobs to do, Mastering InDesign for Print Design and Production, and other books on InDesign, Creative Suite, Adobe Illustrator, QuarkXPress, and digital publishing; author of more than 250 published tutorials and articles; co-author of the InDesign and Illustrator Adobe Certified Expert exams; an Adobe Community Professional; the host of a series of Webinars about digital publishing, epub, and the business of design, and; a freelance graphic designer with 20 years’ experience. When not traveling the world training, consulting, or speaking, Pariah divides his time between homes in Boston, Phoenix, and Portland where he writes (a lot) and creates (many) projects and publications to empower, inform, and connect creative professionals.

Sandee Cohen

Sandee Cohen has been working with Illustrator since version 88. (That's right. Illustrator was named version 88 for the year 1988 when that version was released.) Since then she was one of the co-leaders of the Adobe Illustrator forum on AOL. She also co-wrote one of the versions of Real World Illustrator for Peachpit Press. Having taken the moniker, "Vectorbabe" she is the super-hero who fights the never-ending battle to spread the joys of vector artwork no matter where it is found. She has also taught Illustrator classes all over the world.

Von Glitschka

Von is principal of Glitschka Studios a multi-disciplinary design firm in the Pacific Northwest. The studio shines as a creative hired gun for ad agencies, design firms, and in-house corporate art departments.

Von teaches digital illustration and does one day workshops on his book Vector Basic Training, a systematic creative process for creating precision vector artwork.

A pioneer in the digital art field, she has been teaching and writing about digital art since 1983, and about Adobe Illustrator since 1987. Sharon’s best-selling books include Creative Thinking in Photoshop, and the award-winning Adobe Illustrator WOW! Book series. She has consulted privately for corporate clients, presented at Macworld* Expo and Seybold Seminars, and has taught and lectured in schools and training centers across the country including the Kodak Center for Creative Imaging, The Apple Center NY, RISDI CE and The Pratt Institute. Jean-Claude Tremblay
Jean-Claude Tremblay is the owner of Proficiografik, a Canadian consulting and training service for the graphic and print community, designed to help clients work efficiently. Jean-Claude has been using Adobe Illustrator for more than 20 years and is technical editor for many of Peachpit Press’ publications on Illustrator. He is an Adobe Certified Expert Design Master and an Adobe Community Professionals member. Jean-Claude also act as an Adobe Community Help Moderator for Illustrator Online help and in his spare time, the co-representative for the InDesign User Group in Montréal.
