The Illinois Chamber Music Festival is proud to present its 15th annual free concert series this summer, from July 9 - 29, located in Bloomington, IL. For the past fifteen years, the Illinois Chamber Music Festival has been offering a superior chamber music experience to students and concert-goers in Central Illinois. You are invited to join us as we present chamber music of the highest quality, performed by acclaimed faculty instructors and performers from across the United States. All concerts are free and open to the public, with no tickets required. Whether you are a seasoned concert-goer or a first-time attendee, you will enjoy hearing works by Mozart, Dvorak, Brahms, Beethoven, and more at the Illinois Wesleyan University School of Music in Bloomington, IL. The Festival features 15 chamber music performances by students, guest artists, and faculty. ***Special Event: Children’s Concert, July 22, 2017: At this educational concert tailored specifically for a young audience, children will enjoy creating their own percussion instruments and helping make music with the performers on stage! Also includes instrument demos and an opportunity for audience members to try out different instruments following the concert.***
