This FREE mid-season refresher is for any landscape professional looking to brush up on skills. 

Morning session
9:00-10:30am (all attendees): Softscape and hardscape plan reading + landscape computations

Attendees may then choose between two rooms (and can alternate at any point)

Room 1 
10:30-11am: Irrigation components and principles
11:00-11:30am: Basic program controller
11:30-12noon: Plant identification
Room 2
10:30-11am: Instrument
11:00-11:30am: Grading and drainage
11:30-12noon: Paver installation

These short, 30-minute sessions are rooted in PLANET's Landscape Industry Certified program. The lessons will be taught by qualified instructors from Illinois' top landscape firms. Attendees will have the opportunity for classroom and hands-on instruction and Q&A with the instructors and other attendees.


If you are considering taking the Landscape Industry Certified examination (formerly CLT) these lessons cover the most difficult problems. This is an excellent primer for any landscape professional looking to achieve the industry's highest professional honor. The LIC exam will be offered October 3-4, 2014 at the exact same location as this training.
