Two of Hollywood’s greatest musical icons of the 1930’s, Paul Whiteman and John Murray Anderson, collaborate on one of the most ambitious Hollywood stage performances to ever emerge. An impressive line-up of premiere Jazz performers, including a young Bing Crosby, gave this film international critical acclaim.
Restored in 2016 by Universal Studios. Screening introduced by Peter Schade and Janice Simpson, who curated the restoration.
