Description

Hello Parents and Teachers:

It’s time to sign up for the next Science Saturday. The Fall 2017 series is sponsored by Cox Communications (Premier Sponsor), the Escambia County Sheriff's Office and Gulf Power.

Lemon Batteries and Solar Cells!

The November Science Saturday topic is Lemon Batteries and Solar Cells. The presentation will be led by Dr. Ursula Schwuttke, IHMC’s director of educational outreach. Please join us for another fun hands-on event!

Submit a reservation request for the 9 am or 11 am session for children in grades 3-5 only. When you click on REGISTER, you will be prompted for some additional information before being issued a ticket. If there are no tickets left, please click on JOIN WAITLIST. Enter your email and your child’s full name. Then click on ADD TO WAITLIST. Please repeat this for each child that you would like to add to the list.

If you’re on the waiting list, we will let you know no later than Friday, November 17, 2017 if we can accommodate your child. It’s definitely worthwhile to join the list, as we usually get a number of cancellations.

If you have questions, please call IHMC at 850-202-4462 and someone will help you. The generosity of Cox, the Escambia County Sheriff's Office, and Gulf Power makes it possible for IHMC to offer hands-on science events free of charge to all attendees.

Sincerely, Ursula M. Schwuttke

Director, Educational Outreach
