About this Event
The Main Event, 5-8pm:
Grab your best ugly Christmas sweater and join us to experience the joy and nostalgia of gathering with friends and family for an outdoor Christmas Tree Lighting complete with live music, gingerbread houses, train rides, adoptable puppies, food trucks, a Christmas market and more!
The Family Experience, 3:30-4:30pm (add-on at check-out):
Who’s ready for a ridiculous snowball fight? Join us for an entertaining hour of fun and games for elementary-aged kids and their families. Plus, you’ll enjoy a special children’s Christmas lesson and a decorative craft your family can display at home as you count down to Christmas!
Gingerbread House Competition (add-on at check-out):
Pre-heat the oven, pull out the cookie sheets, mix that frosting, and enter IHC’s Gingerbread House Competition! You'll make your gingerbread masterpiece at home and bring it to the event ahead of time to be admired. One lucky entrant will be randomly selected to flip the switch for the official Christmas tree lighting! Judged categories will include: “Most Detailed,” “Best Use of Candy” and “Kid Bakers.”
We care about your safety!
Because we are committed to doing what we can to keep our community healthy, IHC requires that face masks are worn for all of our on campus events by everyone age 2 and older. At this event, we will require social distancing in seating areas, and we will encourage proper distancing with clearly-marked spots for areas where lines may form. The majority of this event will take place outdoors, with limited capacities for selected indoor activities. While anyone may be susceptible to COVID-19, older adults and people with underlying health conditions may be at a higher risk. We encourage you to stay home if you have a fever, congestion, or any other symptoms that may indicate you are unwell.
