IGS Presents: CitizenCan Film Festival & Countdown2Now Student Exhibition
Back by popular demand, IGS students and teachers present to you the CitizenCan Film Festival, where the top documentaries from the IGS 11 Rails to Relevance trip will be showcased. Join us for an evening in questioning, “What does it mean to be Canadian?” and “What is Canada’s responsibility to the world?”
Plus, new to this year’s festival we present to you the Countdown2Now Student Exhibition which features our new IGS 10 trans-disciplinary Science and Social Studies cohort. Students will be showcasing their inquiry project which challenges ethical judgement making both in a historical and contemporary context.
Our intention with the evening is to foster an adult-world connection where students can share their project-based learning with the community in an authentic way! We are passionate about students seeing themselves as leaders, agents of change, and problem solvers now and in the future, and appreciate your support in cheering them on!
Therefore, it is with pleasure that the students and teachers of IGS 10 & 11 invite you to join us on December 7th at 6:00 pm at Claremont Secondary School to view the exhibition and subsequent film festival finalists.
