Event description

Description

Through a series of panels and keynote speakers, the Igniting Good Town Hall will highlight how individuals, groups and organizations are driving some of today’s most innovative social movements. We will examine how movement leaders are using creativity, collaboration and data-driven insights to raise public awareness and support for causes.

This in-person and online forum will bring together movement leaders from a variety of sectors, fundraisers and campaigners to explore the strategy behind today’s social movements for good. We’ll discuss the latest research on movements, campaigns, #GivingTuesday, millennials and social impact. Through storytelling, case studies, research and thought leadership from successful social movements and grassroots campaigns, the audience will learn new tactics for igniting donors and advocates both on #GivingTuesday and all year-round.

The town hall will include panels on the following topics:

  • Data-Driven Models of Movement Building

  • Building Awareness Campaigns for Successful Activism

  • Raising Support for Social Movements

  • Movement Building at the Local/Grassroots Level

  • Organizing Approaches in a New Era of Activism – Case Study: Women’s March on Washington
