About this event
Ignite Your Superpower is a STEM day for middle school girls, providing them with hands-on learning exhibits on various disciplines within the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. The event is designed by Indy Women in Tech to inspire girls to discover more about STEM and ignite their interest early. The girls will be introduced to female role models, who will demonstrate and describe what it is to be a successful woman in a STEM career. This year we are bringing the STEM day to you! This event is for KIPP Middle School Girls Only. All Kipp middle school girls are welcome and highly encouraged to attend this event.
With the help of sponsors and partners like Junior League of Indianapolis, Women & Hi Tech, Republic Airways, Parity and more, we will have a full house of STEM experiences!
Join us: Friday, January 27th, 2023 I 10:00am-12:30pm I KIPP Middle School Gymnasium I Lunch will be provided
PROPOSED SCHEDULE:
9:30 am: Arrival/Booth Set up
9:45 am: Check-in/divide into groups
10:10 am: Welcome
10:15 am: STEM booth activities
11:35 am: Pass out boxed lunches
11:50 am: Panel/Booths End
12:25 pm: Closing
