Event description

Thought leaders, creative visionaries, tech innovators, & social change agents!

Cultivating skills as a dynamic, funny, engaging, and authentic storyteller is more important than ever.

Speaking powerfully changes the world. Great speeches have inspired the call to end to slavery, apartheid, colonialism, and sexual harrassment. Great speeches have ushered in the dawn of technological, academic, and environmental revolution. The power of these speeches comes not simply from the words people speak, but from the lives they live.

  • TEDx Talk
  • Startup Pitch
  • Business Presentation
  • Keynote Speech

IN THIS WORKSHOP, by revealing the beauty of your life's work, we'll reveal the power of your words - your intention.

IF YOU HAVE A MESSAGE to share with your people, and you're not sharing it, the world is missing out on your gift. (And each of us has a message.) In this course, you will:

  • Write a powerful, concise script
  • Sell your ideas and win over your audience, just by being you
  • Clarify and convey the underlying message of your entire presentation
  • Develop confidence, poise, & presence on stage
  • Learn how and where to bring humor and levity

OUR AIM is not to become "speakers", but to powerfully communicate and transmit to a bigger audience our values, our actions, and our heartfelt sentiments to add value, truth, beauty, and love to the planet - make the world a better place. Whether you're new to the stage and are ready to make your first forray into speaking, or you are a veteran to large audiences, looking to increase your impact, sense of humor, relational presence, and authenticity, I will support you over the course of 8 weeks to develop your TEDx Talk, ELI Talk, Ignite Talk, etc.

CREATING A GREAT TALK will help you spread your idea, build your brand, and live your purpose.

Testimonial Video

IN A SUPPORTIVE, intimate group of high-caliber humans, you will uncover your authentic, powerful, and playful voice, creating a 12-minute speech/performance, from scratch. You will be held, guided, and inspired by Alicia and by one another to create a piece that you will be PROUD of, which your friends and colleagues can come see and celebrate, which we'll film and you can send anywhere.

EACH WEEK, the workshop includes things like improv exercises, supportive discussion about your piece and time on stage to create. It’s one part speaking workshop, one part standup comedy, one part alchemy, and all parts good.

COME FOR the knock-down, drag-out, full self-expression with the full range of human emotion. Stay for the fun and connection. Leave with a 10-minute piece you can perform anywhere. Your Hero’s Journey begins here.
