You’ve just stepped off your interstellar spaceship into a vibrant blue planet—this place the locals call Earth. All around you is a world you’ve never experienced before. How does this planet and the beings that live within it function? What is life like here? Luckily you’ve been trained at the most prestigious schools back home and you’re ready to investigate…but what will you find? Will it be awful, or beautiful, or everything in between?

This evening’s journey asks us: what happens when we let go of our preconceptions and look at something with fresh eyes? Can we experience it anew? Maybe it isn’t what it initially appeared to be. Maybe we’ll even notice something there that we didn’t see before…

We invite you to join us for this inquisitive and enlightening event as our talented speakers guide us on a study of a variety of topics…science, culture, psychology, technology and more. They may be familiar topics, but what we will learn will definitely surprise us!

Expect our signature lineup of 5-minute speedy Ignite Talks, lots of mingling, and some silly audience games. This time at a new venue—The Great Star Theater in San Francisco’s Chinatown! This historic theater is newly renovated and ready to party. So let’s grab our alien spyglasses and get ready for liftoff…

Doors open at 6:30. Come early, grab a drink, meet new friends, and play some icebreaker games.

Speaker lineup and bios coming soon!
