Event description

Description

The Sisters of the South, Reba Campbell and Tasha Allain, welcome you into sacred space, where free movement is celebrated and consent is respected. This night will begin with a cacao ceremony, honouring the spiritual wisdom and heart shinning medicine of cacao.

Seamlessly, we will begin warming up the body with mindful movement and dynamic stretching. Shifting intention into the body, we will twirl, sway, reach, wiggle, shake, stomp, and move our bodies into every kind of arc, angle, figure-of-eight and heap-on-the-floor configuration. We will reflect on the past year celebrating our gold, while acknowledging and releasing the dark. We will dream and manifest the new coming year and fill ourselves whole, shedding what no longer serves us. After 3 hours of shake medicine, we will bring our bodies back to the Earth and bask in the Songweaver's Sound Bath of crystal bowls, angelic tones and songstress tales.

Join the movement, foster community, and for the love of cacao shine your light bright into the New Year!

Queen Street Yoga will be offering a beautiful NYE Yoga class leading up to our shake and shine ecstatic dance celebration. Doors will open at 10pm, with ceremony beginning promptly at 10:15pm and finishing at 2am.

Regular tickets will exchange for $40

Tickets at the door will be priced at $45

It is so important to us that we have a safe and consensual space where people can join one another in sound and movement and heal. Please support us in this vision and purchase your tickets as soon as you can.
